TERMINALS

Madrid-Barajas Airport has 5 passenger terminals: T1, T2, T3, T4 and T4S. Terminal T1 operates international flights, T2 domestic and intra-Schengen flights, and T3 domestic and regional flights. T4 and its satellite terminal T4S are the newest terminals of the airport. T4 serves domestic flights as well as others within Schengen. T4S is connected to the main terminal by an underground train and is used for international flights outside of the Schengen Area.
